Why would you want to continue living when you're so debilitated that you can't even speak, walk, or even think clearly. This woman was mentally disabled. She had spent the last 15 years of her life doing such tasks as sitting and staring at a balloon. Why would you put a person through such misery as to keeping them alive through a fucking feeding tube even? That's how bad things off things were for her. Had to be fed with a feeding tube.
It may be different for small children who are disabled. They have not yet experienced life as we know it, even though it is destined to be a rather cruel one. But this woman has lived her life. I seriously doubt she'd want to die of old age after many, many years of being artificially kept alive. I know I wouldn't...
But poeple such as my mother think differently. "You're cutting off someone's food supply and killing them" "That's cruel" yadda yadda yadda. I disagree.
