well i got a copy of c4d from a friend and i cant figure out how to make the perspective view port move... its probly real simple but i cant figure it out. can one of you tell me how and maybe point me to a site that has basic tutorials for abstracts ? thx Xen0

in that view, it the upper right hand corner there are three buttons. Basically the first one moves the camera around, the second zoom's in and out, and the third is the angle / pitch. You click on the button and move your mouse around and it will change the view or whatever button your on.
