I will try to explain but to aid me I posted the tutorial that I am referring to. I have seen this "trick" in other tutorials too, also in C4D's that I have used in my work.

I zoom out from my basic render and then right click as it says and drag left but nothing works, I tried right/left click and moving mouse in all directions, all happens is it physically moves closer and further from the render, rather than creating this "zooming effect".

Thankyou for all help.

I am also looking for someone who knows how to completely reset all settings for C4D (I use release 9) because when I first got it I could have bars at the origin (0,0,0) and now I have bars that will not allow me to move the render. Thanks again.

Yeah I click that and drag the mouse in all directions using left and right click, but still I get the regular zoom.

You have to do it really far if I recall because at first it looks like the normal view. But I haven't touched C4D in 5 years so don't quote me.*

Ok lmao. I kept zooming in and out using all clicks and then suddenly it randomly happened, at least I know my C4D can do it. Thankyou for the help

Not for now thanks, guess I'll try out all the effects

If anyone else if having trouble, left or right click the triangle and zoom out as far as possible (one will zoom out faster than the other) Then keep holding down click and switch to the other clicker, so hold down right, hold down left, let go of right. Then zoom-age will work
