*because i know everyone would like ME more if i had good taste in music.
and, if i made sure that everyone not only knew that...but that they knew that their taste in music, was clearly...not as good as mine.

what happens...when you meet someone with better taste in music then you?
do you simply bow, and admit defeat? do you commit suicide? --as you so kindly suggested to bit? or do you desperately attempt to defend your preferences...for reasons you can't even begin to explain?

i'll assume you just thoroughly enjoy arguing. and say:
"i'm listening to motion city soundtrack. because it sounds nice, and it fits the mood. i don't know who any of the bands you guys listed are, but if it's metal and/or rap, i'm not interested.
do you guys know of any supergood acoustic/indie bands?"
