actually, spielberg just created a reality TV show...and it actually looks decent...
it's called 'off the lot' or something along those lines...in it, they get a bunch of aspiring film directors, have them all make short movies, and then basically eliminate them american idol style.
it may be terrible...and these directors may have no vision. but if they're any good, i'd be really interested in watching.
