[Huge Edited Sappy Post About You Retarded Guys Called the Community Inc.!]


I for one love going through the older posts and looking at how a lot of us have grown into really well rounded, experimental artists. Im really proud of this site now, how tight knit the community has become, and frankly, how damn good you ALL have become with your art. Some of the newer members might not be up there with a lot of you veterans but im really confident that we have a great core group of excellent artists and excellent people. Honest to god, im so damn proud and impressed with where this has become. Many of you might've noticed ive been sort of half here half AFk from VDCore, which is kind of odd for me considering this used to be my entire life a couple years ago when we first started. I attribute WoW and RL commitments usually, but i can honestly say it was just me being a coward because i wasnt proud of this site or of its members when i should have been. All of you old members have come so fucking far in so short a period of time, from horribly trendwhore signiture sluts, to thoughtful and inquisitive honest to god artists who are experimenting, going outside their comfort zones to try new things and just generally growing and maturing. So i hope this little speech has inspired a few of you to maybe try new things, and bring some friends to the site, because i promise you what pat has been working on for so many months and has put countless thousands of hours of work into will fucking blow you away. Version 3 is Pats baby, and its so incredible from what he's shown me, which isnt even that damn much. Pat, take all the time you need, we're in no hurry because we're all sitting here growing, expanding, and thinking big.

Alright, im done typing and looking back theres so many grammatical errors and spelling errors in that fucking novel i just pounded out, so yeah, take from it what you want to.

The general summery would be a thank you to all the members, and to let you know im proud of you and want to start encouraging you to expand our community. I used to want to keep the site small because i enjoy knowing all of you so well through AIM and these forums, and frankly, id like to get to know some more people and get some more minds like yours running through these forums. Id like to get more means of inspiration, more ways for the community to grow together as Artists, and dammit id like to get more of you goofy fuck up retards that i can honestly call my friends. I'm damn sure pat feels the same way, and i dont think you should expect a big sappy speech from him like im shoving down your throat / eyes, hes got far too much work on his shoulders than he deserves. Appreciate all that pat does for this site and for you because ive taken him for granted the last 2 years and im sure most of you have as well. Thanks Pat, youre the best co admin (boss, even with all the work youve done compared to the miniscule amount ive done...) and friend i could have gotten from this site and this damn internet!
