You heard right. My brand new Dell crashed the first two months I owned it because of System32, whatever it is. All I did was call Dell Technical Support. The first time, I got this Indian-speaking guy. I couldn't understand a word he was saying. So that was a bad first experience. Then the next was a straight whitey, so we were good. They will eventually end up sending you cd's to reinstall programs on your computer. But if you can get into Safe Mode (F8?) before the System32 appears, you may be able to safe all of your art and work onto a usb drive. That's what I did. Good luck.
