Well i've never really made a layout myself.. I've just coded one. Not very good at it though. If anyone would be able to make me a banner that goes along with the website theme, I'd greatly appreciate it. Why is the content box so big? Well, This is gonna be my journal blog for my site that i'm gonna put up. If anyone has tips on whats good or bad or how to fix somthing, feel the need to say your peace. That's not bad for your second (or first...whatever you want to consider it). The colors are nice, and the overall design is alright.

Eh...the content box is as big as you make it, so that's on you.

Just keep trying, and eventually you'll get the hang of it, and get better and better.

i think its a great basic design for a blog. Although, dont use image links, It will make it much more complicated on yourself. Instead, just use a repeating background and put text links over it.
