i think i like the 2nd b/c of the creativity, but still needs some work like you said... try making your text more visible by adding a stroke, shadow or bevel
cool idea, but need to work on it

I like top one better.. simply because its visually more pleasing =)

also make the text more.. readable, kinda hard to read it. And Im not gonna rate because that really doesnt mean anything..

The first one is much nicer to look at, but the whole inverted colors concept of the 2nd one is pretty cool. Change the color of typeface of the font, its horrible.

there is no inverting there wut i did wuz i took my orriginal render cut it in half add a hue change to that one lay then used my blur tool to make so it wasnt just a straight line down the middle

i like the concept in the second one but the bgs and the render and the text just arent doing it for me. maybe make the bgs change from firey to icy or between complementary colors. or i would make the bgs light vs dark. or i would do tech vs abstract or grunge. excellent concept tho. imo, the fastest way to improve it would be to make the left side like red or something more evil looking and fix the text. sux how you cant do that. better luck next time.
