Buying advice

I need help buying a tablet.

-I'd like to stick to wacom, as countless reviews state other brands usually have serious pitfalls
-I'd like to stay within a price range of $0-$300 (approximate)
-I'd like it to be as big and as functional as possible without exceeding too far beyond my price range

Any suggestions? I'm open.

i saw a thread like this on cgtalk. Alot of people have said that the wacom intuos3 6x8 was the best choice for a tablet. It has 1024 layers of pressure, where the graphire only has 512. Also, the intuos has the pen tilt feature which definately puts it way above a graphire.

Think of a tablet as an investment, because alot of people swear by it. I myself want to get one too, but i need to get some money first.

And, alot of people say 6" by 8" is the way to go, anything bigger and its not really worth it. The intuos3 6x8 is like 250 or something. you'd have to look. www.wacom.com

Thanks for your help man, but I just checked the site and it turns out it's 330 dollars......330 is a little more than 250. That's a lot of money bro......Is there a way to customize my package that I order so that it comes cheaper? It comes with a bunch of crap like Adobe Photoshop Elements 3, which I don't necessarily need.

Check it here: http://www.wacom.com/productinfo/6x8.cfm
