Hey Bryce looks great. The only thing i have to say is the smudging on the hair is something i think you could have done better, but since its done in photoshop, i really wont hold that against you. Grab me on AIM, i got a few questions for you regarding painter and this sort of thing in general.

Just wondering about the background: Did you use blur at all or did you just paint it like that?

The background was originally a lot clearer, and those gray blobs in the lower right were also a lot more visible. It was drawing too much attention away from the face, and it just didn't look right for the horizon to be at that level with everything so in-focus. So yeah, I dulled the lower right and did a quick 10-pixel Gaussian blur on the land portion to try and make it look a little better.
