I really like the tribal stuff, looking good. Some of the fractals look good, but they seem pretty boring, maybe some color balance or blending more together?

A good start nontheless.

yaaah, i love these pieces. but the text took away from them. just some more...subtle(?) text. and no more bevel+emboss, etc, and i think these would be awesome pieces.

The first one is very nice, but the transparent stuff at the top looks out of place. So does the text on the ball. Did you really make that crazy stuff at the bottom?

Wow man, your tribal shit is pretty impressive! Wish i could do shit like that. As for the fractals, they seem pretty boring without any color. This is meh fave btw.

I can draw tribal, but I can't make it on my PC, and I have no Tablet. The transparent bit isn't supposed to be transparent, but I couldn't figure out how to make the brush less transparent, so it's the brushes fault

What about the second Fractal, got lots of colour on it?

With the transperent problem, just place the brush down, then bust out the pen tool and go around it. Once you're done you even have a vector so you can manipulate it easier

and I agree with Apoc

and you should lay off the brushes some more. I mean it looks cool and all, but everyone can do that. try and come up with somethign original and I will be ver impressed :E

Lol, it's funny that when I used to just mess about with filters, peple told me to use brushes, now I use brushes, people are telling me to stop.

What can I do without brushes?

Nonono, use brushes by all means. Use filters by all means. Use everything you can/want.

But make it something new, use it together, make it original and appealing. Be different. Exceed what you're doing here.

heh, now that we know that you aren't makeing thses designs yourself it kinda kills it....
I think what atomic is trying to say is you should use brushes, just not have a huge brush on a piece and call it yours.
try makeing some tribal images that you created from scratch, and maybe add flavor to them with filter/brushes.
