My Sketchbook

Well seeing as the site has become much more traditional art based recently and also due to my recent slump in activity (my comp blew up and I finally got it back after about 2 months), I thought I'd upload work from my current Art Portfolio. I'm gonna be doing concept art for this project but first I gotta hit the basics of anatomy so here's what I got so far, I'll also be updating this as regularly as I can.

thanks for the great comments guys, the sea cucumber is definately my favourite too. I just found out I got 3 weeks (including this week) to get 10 A1 sheets of work done so you can expect quite a bit more coming in here but they'll likely be photos as I won't be able to get them in my scanner. I got a nice leg bone study and some arm studies that really help with understanding how the arm is structured so I'll post those as soon as I can.

okay late night, just finished this hopefully tomoz you can see what I'm doing with this. I'm rele happy with it, it all came out - dare I say - perfect. 0.5 mechanical pencil...

Not really these are all either life drawing or photographs - the manga anatomy refs are closest I've used to drawings.

These are some stuffs that I've done since all for the same project, moved away from the pencil stuff to different mediums. Hopes you like.

I love the effects on the fire dude, and the shading on the cucumber is eye candy.I also loikes the line art for the wing. iss sweet.
