well it works for some, and for others it doesn't. Everyone has that one thing that hits their euphoric spot in their brain. I wouldn't take happy pills and drink at the same time. It kind of defeats the purpose of you spending all that money on antidepressants,and then going out and buying a depressant. I swing away from alcohol cause of my mom, but what ever floats your boat. :]

I actually prefer smoking, but either way, happy pills just seem wrong to me. I don't think it's right for people to actually go about their day thinking it's normal to be messed up on some chemicals that a doctor says will make everything right. Then again, i don't like taking tylenol or aspirin either, so maybe i'm just weird.

I still think they're bullshit, stay away from any pills. Learn to be happy. Fake it through until it works. Go outside. Whatever. But I refuse all pills that aren't for nutrition-purposes or colds only.
The unfortunate events concerning doctor only solidify this mindset.

It really isn't as simple as that, but the idea is still there; there's actually biological psychology that supports such statements. If I wasn't a lazy bastard in class, I would exactly what it was, but yeah. Pat's got a point.

@FuLou, Sounds like manic depression. I can only imagine that some anti-depressant would make things worse. Not taking em makes the good times that much more fun and worthwhile.

im tellin ya man, you just got to keep looking for what makes you happy. It's out there somewhere, you probably just have not found it. I know it's difficult since your not really eligable to go and explore the world, but that's my two cents.
I have a goal in life, and yea It gets boringly depressing. In the mean time, I tend to light up a bowl and hang out with friends to escape that boredom.
