Look into the group Blackalicious, particularly the album "Flaming Arrow."
And if you want R&B, then you HAVE to go with my main man, Bill Withers. Get one of his best-of albums. My favorites of his are "Lovely Day," "Ain't No Sunshine," "Use Me," "I Wish You Well," "Grandma's Hands," "The Same Love that Made Me Laugh," "Lean on Me," and "Just the Two of Us." He's the fucking man.

Jack Johnson lives around here. He goes into Hot Licks sometimes. Once he came in with his bassest and just bought a bunch of guitars for him and shit.

I suggest DIGITAL!

And Slightly Stoopid. And Steel Pulse.

Well for my rap I like.... Insane Clown Posse,Twiztid,Anybody Killa,Dark Lotus,Marz, and Tech N9ne. There pretty much all the same so thats why I like them

Anything by Dark Lotus is probally is the best. Im saying this is the easiest to listen to since you never listened to rap before because Its actually cosidered metal but sings as rap

Well i only really listen to punk and weezer and come classical... so:
Punk:
The clash, Dead Kennedys, Sex Pistols, Blitz, Conflict, Motörhead, The Turbo A.C.'s, The Adicts, Flogging Molly, Oxymoron, Lower Class Brats, Subhumans...
Weezer- Download Pinkerton
Classical... O_o hmm A Clockwork Orange soundtrack is pretty damn good , the halo 2 sound track isnt bad, but its not really classical.

I didn't really like that album, I find the Green Album to be more...hip.

Try,
Green Day - Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)
Coldplay - Entire Album: Rush of Blood to the Head
The Beatles - The Beatles 1

Those are some of my favorites, fun times with an ipod

Are you kidding me... TGA was their worst album IMO, Pinkerton their best, the lyrics are real, there are acutal solos to every song. I'ts some of Rivers' best work up to date, lyrics and guitar work, much better than their last two albums, but we shall see on May 10th, when Make Believe comes out ^^
