Just a little insight into what i listen to as i do my art, homework, type this post, ect.
" Blues Singer, by Buddy Guy "
-The thing i like about this is the lyrics. Very emotion-filled lyrics coupled with incredable guitar by Buddy Guy himself make it an album that is a must buy/download. If you're into blues, its something i'd definantly suggest. Personally, the song i like the most would be Hard Time Killing Floor. This songs got great lyrics with actual meaning behind them sung beautifully by Mr. Buddy Guy himself, who also plays a magnificant guitar melody that fits perfectly into place with his style of singing. I must say, This album shows the musical perfection this man has achieved through years and years of playing both professionally and amaturely. Another good song would be Moanin' and Groanin' which starts off as a soft guitar - drum mix, which then breaks off with a great bass rift as Mr. Buddy Guy himself jumps in and begins singing his emotional song. The drummer in this song really utalizes the brushes / bass kicks to fit the guitarist. The ride cymbols a nice mix to it, and you'll really enjoy this if you like good guitar and blues.
