its 249 for a 4 gig. retarded if you ask me. It's for people taht want something with more space than a shuffle, smaller than a mini, higher priced than both, and a screen.

To me, its aimed at picky assholes with too much money.

the mini is no longer in existance. The Nano is going to replace the mini. And the shuffle is complete garbage.

if i had alot of extra cash burning a hole in my pocket i would buy that. my iPod is so fucked up and broken i cant even load new songs on it, it works when it feel slike it and it sucks. so yeah i'd buy that, its small and i would like it for snowboarding along with the burton jacket that has the ipod control on the sleeve, and my had with headphones in it <3

i want that. 1,000 songs is enough for me, and when that gets full, i just delete. not sure how much $249US is in canadian though..

they did take the mini off the site...and while yes, the smaller (memory) size of the nano is a bitch...it's physical size is fuckin awesome

Not only that but i can pretty much guarentee that they will get more storage onto the new nano if demand calls for it.

And yes, you can still buy the Mini, but its out of production. At the press conference jobs specifically said that the nano would replace the mini.

I would break that shit in two seconds. $250 bucks for 4 gigs when you can get like 20 gigs for $300 bucks (fifty bucks more...), ridiculous.

i can do better

my friend got a 20 gig with all audio playback and video playback for the same price as a 20 gig ipod

but now thiat player is like 300 or so

+ lots of space
+ rechargable battery
+ looks hawt
+ general good quality
+ value (even though its expensive, it still is actually good value - an ipod mini will cost about $300 (canadian), and its 4 gigs. a 128 mb will cost about $100 (less if its a shitty one!), and theres what, 100 or 1000 mbs in a gig? and theres 4 of em in a mini, so figure out just how many small mp3 players youd need, and just how much it would cost, and youll see its a good value)

- rather large, even for the mini
- people will think your a "trendwhore" or something stupid

thats one of the main reasons I got an ipod... because my cd player was to big to fit into my pocket.

My old cd player was also an mp3 player,
and here are the cons of the cd/mp3 player.
-BIG
-dosnt hold hardly enough space
-you can only listen to one cd at a time.
-adding, and deleteing songs is such a pain in the ass ( make a new cd with all the new songs on it every time you want to add a song.)
-doesnt have extra features.
-dosnt look nice, or have a nice display.
-and cd players skip when you shake them.
