Fucking awesome. So i take it that was the cool new release from Apple today? Hell of a job. You think we'll be seeing people dualbooting windows/macOSx86 on one of these? Or are there still hardware differences preventing such situations?

Its possible you could dual boot if you had the drivers for the parts on the laptop. I'm sure it will happen, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

The only thing I dont like about the new laptop is the price. Its at $1999 for a 15"... or $2499 for more processing power. They are not offering a bigger screen. If they sold a 15" widescreen at maybe $1499 and a 17" widescreen at $1999 then i'd spring for the 17", because I cant stand working on low resolutions

I'd imagine they'll have a bigger model up soon, hopefully. I was looking at the price too with a little bit of a "wtf?" look on my face. Screensize is teh sm4llz.

It is fast. And the resolution is pretty good: 1440x900.... but I still want a bigger screen. At least 1920x1080, which is HD spec for 1080p. My next monitor is going to have this.

Oh and they released an itunes update.

Dual booting windows is possible. That'd be hXc. Boot it off an external HDD when certain windows apps are needed. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but there might be some!

yeah stock really shot up on apple. Its predicted to go up to about 105/share, my teacher put 100,000 US into apple just before the ipods came out, it split at almost 100 a share a while back (means his stock doubles but the price cuts in half per stock) so once it gets 100 hell have 1 million US invested in apple. Former stock broker = \

Anyway, i got stock in apple to, so please go buy this

I really wish i had like $20,000 to spend back in october. I would have bought stock in google at $350 a share. It's now at $466.25 a share which means I would have made $6000. My friend bought 1 share at the $350 when I was looking at it, he's hoping it splits.
