T-shirt designs

Okay i may just be ramboling here but i really need to beef up my wardrobe and i need to get a lot of t-shirts.

What i'm thinking is, basically I want to design a bunch of my own shirts, or buy some designs that would be kick ass, yet not mainstream.

When i was in cali, i met this guy who let me wear one of his shirts to a club, and i got mad credit becuase it was a local shirt (tatoo shop), but still, it was awesome.

I think i mentioned this before, But i would like to try and open an internet shirt shop. preferably with designs you guys can create and help get the name out. I'm going to look into what it will cost to get this thing off the ground, but instead of going through an online shop, i might try and start my own with my own equipment.

Let me know whats up and if any of you would be interested.

Re: T-shirt designs

Thing is if you do it your own you need to get that Iron on transfer paper. Which after someimte looks like a cum stain on your shirt.

Get an Off-gray shirt and put the VDC logo on it.

Not if i bought a screening machine by taking out a small buisness loan. I would get like 10 solid t-shirt designs first before i even purchased anything.

And i'm not talking specifically vdc t-shirts, although i would probably sell 1 through the shop, but this would be entirely independent and a full blown t-shirt company.

Re: T-shirt designs

That would be sick Pat. I was thinking about trying to get some stuff screen printed on a shirt myself.

But if you'll do it for me, and I can wear some other sick ass designs, I would support it.

I'm running a similar operation. I wouldn't mind lending a few of my rather experimental concepts to your cause so long as

Of course this wouldnt happen. I wouldnt have the rights to the image, and I'd have to work out details, but every t-shirt design would recieve compensation.

As far as the company is concerned, I am really wanting to do this, but I have to get some solid buisness plans down first, and research the industry. Obviously its a saturated one, but If i focus on a specific type of t-shirt then I can probably cash in pretty hard.

I'm going to research first and then i'll let you know whats up.

Layer:eight you say you're already doing something like this? mind sharing a little more?

Re: T-shirt designs

Nothing on the level that you're contemplating, but I've been designing t-shirt graphics inconsistently for about 3 years for random, small time companies that left before they could say they ever came. For the last while, I've been compiling my concepts with every intention to contribute them to my brother's aspiring clothing line. However, I see no need to confine those creative efforts. Your project is a relatively sooner outlet.

Be better if you put the text up on the chest area so that people can actually see your belly button when you have your shirt tied into a knot.

Re: T-shirt designs

Or just put it on the boobs and say "That's not my face asshole."

Well PAt you could get elukA to get high and draw something for you. You should do a custom design company as in... People send in a design you make xx shirts with said design and they pays you off AT THE SAME TIME you make your own and sell those.

I'd help you but I think I am doing with photoshop for a very long time, I just can't get anything done. Depression has swallowed my soul. I can't get anything done in photoshop for personal reasons. =\

Ah well I could show you my websites design and you can take off the whole TEAM-MIDNIGHT.NET part...

It's just the AOL dude on fire. With some rather 'good' advice to not set your self on fire!

It'll get popular again in about 30 years. Just like Converse, Adidas, flared jeans and Volkswagons. We'll take them by storm.

You don't have to hop on the money train if you don't want to. You can just wave us all off at the station. What's an extra year to you anyway?

no one will want portraits of jimi or bob on their shirts, maybe if he whips out some of those bamf speakers he used to make, I sure as hell would buy a shirt with those designs on it.
