Print Screen button, usually located above the Home / Delete keys...

on the keyboard it might read: Prt Scr

This copies a picture of what you're viewing onto the clipboard. From here you can ctrl + V to paste this image into Photoshop or ms paint or any image editing program.

Vic, pardon me for being thick, but how do I get photoshop to open without showing a dark grey work plane but instead appear as invisible like on your desktop? I know thats not exactly brilliantly explained but I don't mean so its transparent (I can tell that's just your current skin) but so all my tools are like yours and on the desktop so I can open files and work on them as though it were on my desktop...

Shortcut is the F key on a mac; atleast in CS it is.

nope tired all those, doesn't work for me, I'm using a PC and photoshop 7 if that makes any difference. That button just makes it a black background on mine.

It's part of CS2, I can just "shrink" the window. Mac's have always been able to do so Hype, that's why you were unable to figure this out.*
