I do know that. At one point, we were one of the absolute worst states in the nation in terms of schooling. And our colleges are all but worthless.

Except University of Florida, which basically owns any other state college period.


Just for an example, the average GPA of the entire student body is over a 4.00.
And it is pretty much one of the best schools for the best money.


(oh, and my high school ranks 6th in the nation according to Newsweek, and it was 4th last year, so fuck you stoner)

Schooling does not completely matter since life is what you make of it. I mean yea, it can help tremendously, but there are people who barely graduate high school and make more money than you will ever see. that was the college that I was referring to in my questioning. I knew that you had lived in florida, but was unaware if you had (moved) or not. I was just plain out to lazy to simply google "gainesville" to see if it were located in florida, or where have you.

I never faulted your reasoning/belief that florida state was the best state school, I was just saying that in the US, most of the time "good" colleges are usually not state colleges at all, but generally ivy league bullshit, academies, institutes?, or what have you.
