music discussion and all that noise

this isn't a thread to tell us what you're listening to, just about anything involving music.

I got the Flaming Lips's album Transmissions from A Satellite Heart today, kind of poopy. this was in 93 when they had no idea where they were going, so I didn't really expect anything less. and I got Audio Bullys' Generation album. probably one of the best albums I've heard in a long long time, and that ain't no overexaggerating.

also should be getting Depeche Mode and Chicane's full discography in about 10 to 20 hours, yay. Don Davis is someone you should look up too, he does the orchestral tracks for the Matrix, super intense stuff.

and by they way people, when Muzik suggest music, listen to him. you won't regret it.

Yeah, the strokes are old news, but their new CD is pure pwn. So awesome it's redundant.

And Muzik, what's not to like?

Re: music discussion and all that noise

Even though I poo'd on the power metal genre a little when it was first sent to me, I must say that Dragonforce (esp. Inhuman Rampage album) is a group of bamfs.

But I still prefer melodeath any day.

Falling asleep to Solaris by Juno Reactor was almost as amazing as falling asleep to Sigur Ros a little while ago.

Someone start posting in this thread, damn it.
