Muzikaddict Sig Showcase v.2.0
Ok, ever since i started competing in the national sig league, i've made some pretty sweet sigs. Thought i'd start a new thread since there were so many....

There's a national Sig league?! lol... wow insane.

I like your blending of colors, and your images look pretty good. But overall, i think you need to try some new things.

i just think the backgrounds could be a little more intense. I mean, i like what you have there, its just they could have a little more depth to them. For instance on the 1st one, you could have added a glare on the sword.

And, i think you should expiriment with different styles, like vector images and stuff of that nature.

you know ive noticed something about your sigs you always seem to put the pictures and the text in the same place

Haha i just saw that too. And yea, I have to agree with sicloan, all your sigs and some other members sigs are begining to look like the same thing over and over again. Always got an image, a cool background, and some good image/color blending.

thats really just the way sigs were introduced at Gametrailers.com
so we started using those ways... everyonce in a while we go away from the same old stuff... but mainly, its just this...
so that is our life story of sig making

but yes, i am looking to doing more brush/render only sigs...
but i am still learning brushes... in photoshop elements(what i used to have) it used to be alot different... you would just choose a brush shape and size and use it... now you get to make your own and stuff and i really wanna get good at that... so thats what i am practicing...
can anyone suggest any good tutorials for begginers about brushing?

[EDIT] sry Muzik, just realized i did that all in your thread... lol

most of tweaks tuts, there are more, look in the 2d tutorials section.
If your looking for a good way to make brushes, look at sicloans tut here.

*note, brushing is probably one of the hardest things to master. You have to know how heavy you want the brush to be, and how to make it blend into the image.

Dont brush for the sake of brushing. You have to make it fit into one final piece.
