I like it but I think it needs more contrast, more black to show up the lights.

it actually looked really monotone without the blue, but I appreciate the comment.

Do something along those lines (not a finished sig, just a template).

1. contrast
2. smudge lights outwards but keep image to background gradient

Or just do something because the right side (blue) looks pretty awful.
