Muzikaddict sig showcase

Many of these are not useable on this site due to size limits, but I thought i'd display some of my past work in signatures

They aren't the best, but I just recently started PS about 6 months ago, so i'm also not that experienced.

ok time for real comment:
-sig numero uno- if that video is stolen material, then pwnage for you, yah the font fits with the rest of the sig (and character of spawn) so good job on that, only thing i really see is the super bright limeish green, in know red and green are complimentary, but the green seems to take a little away from the sig itself, and i guesss the badassness of spawn (i see his eyes are same green, im just sayin...)
-sig numbero two- well, its a sig, i guess i think it should be a picture, not a bunch in sequential order to make a short video, so i personally think it would be bettter without the video, but it is a nice concept, and the rest of the sig looks supa, colors and everything go well together
-sig numbero 3-it all looks goood, except the border you have is becoming a bit repetitive, and the animated tech stuff is a little silly (maybe you were experimenting, what3ver), and the pic should not, never, ever be centered in the sig, because it = terrible composition, but i llike the bg and the gradient in the text, might have been cool if it was, top to bottom, black to red to look like blood (and maybe add some drippy blood too ^_^)
-rob zombie/jesus sig- once again, the pic is a bit too centered, and it looks rob zombie look like a young and in shape zombie/jesus with good skin, not the sun-hating sort of plump guy he really is, i guess the other thing is that the blow up of the same pic in the bg makes him loook like hes some dictator guy like hitler or whatever trying to scare you into submission (definition of a terrorist!)
-LAST ONE- I LIKE EVERYTHING EXCEPT ITS TOO CENTERED AND THE BORDER YOU USED A LOT BEFORE, and maybe you dont even need the text at all?...

Ok, to respond, I like to always have my name in the sig, the tech stuff i was experimenting with in that knight sig, and i do realize that these sigs have pretty much only tech borders, but i have many with different styles, just didnt display them. But as far as the centering, i'd have to disagree, centering adds to it sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. Thanks for the comments though

Depends on your tastes. I cant rate some of those because i dont beleive in rating art you didnt do. (Or at least didnt do most of). So the Spawn one, the rob zombie one, i cant rate. However, here is my opinion on the rest:

Sig 2:
The background looks a bit organic. i dont know if that was the desired effect, but it works well for the sig, although the one thing i dont like about almost all your sigs is the extensive border. A border is usually put to differentiate where the image stops. They can be an intrigal part of the sig but you dont want them to take it over. I dont usually do big borders anymore, but thats me.

Sig 3:
The animations a bit hard to see, and it feels empty. I dont like the text on this one because i cant really tell what it says or even see it. The brushed-feeling of the background is lost on this one.

Sig 4s animation:
If you did use imageready for this, good job with the animation. I think i figured out how you did it, and its pretty hard. i like the animation and the way it ends up back at the original text. Good font as well. And no, he doesnt look like jesus.

Sig 5:
The eyes stare at you and i like that. Its got breath and depth, and the text's animation works well. I like the general use of the backgrounds theme color.

Thanks dude for your comments.

I won't respond to them because i dont have the time now, but i think they were fair judgements.

A.) I know that all these sigs have animation, and some don't like that, but all of these were experimentations with either an animation or a style in one way or another, I didnt make these for myself as decent work, such as my sig im using now.

B.) It is out of complete randomness that all these had tech borders, and i didnt notice that until i took a closer look at my post

. I also have made grunge, illumination, etc borders for my sigs as well. In addition, i do admit that the tech borders take up quite a bit of room because the site i made these for had a size limit of 100 pixels height - which I HATED

i like your sigs muzik, although, i know you didnt do the art, you just put art together. Tech is overused, as stated many times. But i really like the 5th one you put up, even though you probably didnt do the art for it, it fits well and it stood out in my opinion.

Video sigs are overused and complete shit. The reason is becuase of the file sizes (somtimes over 1mb a piece) which would take days on dialup...

good work though.

@disturbed sigs, i really like the 1st one even though i know you didnt make the logo, it looks hawt.

yah the bg on that last one is a little plain, and try to do something without a stock pic, and maybe something a little more up-beat, all the stuff you make is always so dark
