Edward Manet

I have to do a painting in the style of Edward Manet, but I accidentally started doing it in the style of Claude Monet... so yea... how would I do a painting of Big Ben in Edward Manet's style of art?

Don't pay attention to form as much as say, Gericault or even the Greeks. I mean this in terms of chirascuro.
Manet was more about daily life, and Monet was more concerned with color (he was an impressionist after all) of daily life. Monet also didn't favor the human figure (so Big Ben is no problem). The color is more subjective, almost like, what do you want it to be?

uh, well anyway I better tighten that shit up by Friday cause I have an art history exam >_<

Actually, yes. Put it on thick and don't blend the brushstrokes.

the key is the blending of the brushstrokes, you don't want the blur that comes with monet's finer works.
