Really good tutorial Noodle I'm sure it will help alot of people, and that final image really is an inspiration. Keep up the good work.

But everybody that uses these two tuts, I made them to show you the process i whent through to make it, so you could learn from the techniqes I used. Don't just follow this step by step and call what you made yours lol. Try combining this with other things you know or learned . Thanks for the good feedback also .

EDIT: I really like your results . Only thing I don't really like is how much the wave stands out at the outter edges, maby lower the opacity or erase some parts of it. But overall, Very nice .

try wings 3d or Maya. Both have free edition. I think Maya will be better becuase it has alot more features.
