ya it does that for me too sometimes and also can someone here tell me what i have to download so i can use this music video in my sigs.

Hey i'm new here 2 and working on PS for like 1 month..
For all the guys/girls who's problem was:

I cant open a .mov file cuz it gives me an error..

Download Quiktime player so adobe image ready can open al .mov file.

And MuzikAddict I have a question:

I followed your tut and I opened a .mov file and selected a range and stuff and then I changed the size 2 and then chained all the frames but when I put my signature in (I putted a sigh in that I made) and then after all the chaining and stuff I dragged the animation layer (where al the chains are) to my sigh is that correct? And then I switched to Image ready and saved as optimized and then when I click on the file I just see the sigh with just one frame of the animation and it doesnt move.

Sorry for my bad english and I hope you can help me out of this al the tuts I followed didnt help and the makers didnt answer me so I hope you will solve my question.

Hi im new here and this is my first post ..YAY

Ok , After reading this tut ( very good it is too ) i find im stuck and can't move on .

I see from other posters that im not the olny one who is having this problem so i think its easy to fix .

Here s the piont im up to ..

I have the video in IR and have it sized to 80 x 80 , I have linked all the frames together and set the delay to " no delay " .

I have jumped back to PSP7 and have the layers on the worktop ..now as you say this is the bit people are getting stuck on ... Im stuck .

How do i add my siggy as a layer in the layer list ?
Infact in the tut it don't say about putting the sig in ...It just starts with open video ... then after jump back it say resize siggy to make it fit the movie ... I think you need to make it clear at what point the siggy is to be inserted as a layer and how ?

I hope you understand all of this as i know im realy close to finishing and i reealy would like to do this .

Ok ... i have it now , I could not add my sig to the FIRST frame , I have never done that befor , After trying a load of diffrent ways ....It worked

What is the best way to add the siggy to the first frame ? .. I copy and paste .. Is ther another way ?

Hello, New to the site, and was interested in doing the add video to a sig tut. Only thing is I have no Idea how to save a .mov file from a website. I right click and see no save option for the video. Can Someone tell me how to do this? Thanks in advance for any possible help.

If you can't open the .mov files, I guess you don't have installed QuickTime.
I used an uncompressed .avi movie which worked good too... (CS2)

I have followed the tut but it only saves the optimized files as images only or html only or html & images only....

Took a while, but i did it aventually And luckily i didn't need to use a .mov file, i just used a .GIF image i has already...
Not the best i know.

gif only has a 256 color pallete.

Make sure your saving with all the colors enabled and not just 8bit.
