hey tweak, nice tut. its real easy and thank you. the thing that i need help with is creating images such as the one you started with. im a n00b to photoshop and i first started looking for sites and came by this one. ive been looking at it for some time and i was wondering if there was a way that i could start making those images that you come up with

you need to look into 3d renders. 3dsmax Cinema4d or bryce are all programs that will allow you to create images like this.

Yeah it is. Sadly its all I have, got it for free though.
How many of hundreds of bucks are 3dsmax, Cinema4d, or anyother good 3D programs anyway?

Well, you're looking around...Eh I dunno...$1300 +... Around there. But they are worth every bit. But if you're going to do Abstracts and nothing more, then stick to Bryce. Either way you got it free. It would be a waste of money to get Cinema 4D, Bryce, Maya or etc, if you're just doing abstracts.

theres always a thing called kazaa light or irc or torrent files... of course, you could get caught which would not be good.

if you know how to use bryce it can be quite a very good program, pitty i dont. I've seen people who do though, its really amazing what it can produce.
