how can i make it so that the blend layer only effects the flames?

well blending effects are going to affect pretty much the whole piece, but you just have to play around with the different blending modes and see which ones work for what you want to do.

Help please

i registered to just i could finish this tut, looks very amazing, but i dont under stand how to color it

i used Crtl+B to change the lvls but it doesnt color it anough the first time so i did it a few times, now its all grany i duno what i should do. maybe i did something wrong, dupe mean duplicate the layer right?
