Nice tutorial but step 7 killed my computer , i could do much more if i had more memory

also, how high is your quality on your render. cuz there are way to many jagged edges.

oh my god. I made the coolest render ever......to where you look at it and go OMFG.....but you see i had the demo version of c4d, and it wouldnt let me save it lol i am hurt

BTW, heres the render made when i created the tutorial. I gave it an organic feel with a rock kind of texture, and yes i like the color purple.

.....Excuse my newbishness but im having trouble saving.....i will go to render to picture viewer and the alpha is checked in the settings, its being saved as a targa, etc, etc. But when it renders and saves.....its just black lol. My texture is blackish and dark, but it would still show up at least a little. Its just straight black.....

it will show black, the layers are separated. If you go to channels and ctrl + click on alpha layer, you can select your render, then copy and paste into a new file.

Here is my first render ever, and although i know its not really that good, i am having a world of trouble trying to save it as such files as jpeg, if any of you would be willing to help over aim, the sn is muzikaddict91

I know how to, but its fucking up and will only show black and i am a newb to this program so i have no idea what im doing.....

wow i really really like the lightning on that, and the render isnt half bad. I would play with perspective though, it can really change the way your renders look & feel. And i think the clouds should engulf the render, not the other way around. Very nice work though.
