Why? A sphere with one light focused on it shouldn't be reflecting light like that so far from its bottom edge.

edit: Spherize the selection one or two times to fix the shape of the light in the upper left (it should be elliptical, not circular. A sphere only reflects a circle when the light generated is at the same angles as the viewer's eyes). That's the advanced end of it .

okay, if your making a glass sphere add that. and your right, you should spherize the section, but thats going into more than i wanted to teach in this tutorial.

Ok, I see what you were doing. If it's glass then maybe tone down the saturation or brightness of the reflection on the other side.
