this is my first tut... made it a while ago, just thought i would post it...
plz dont submit anywhere... lol

1.) first use something like google to find an image thats pretty dirty/messy
2.) then select a small portion of the picture that you think will be a cool grunge brush
i will use this one:

3.) copy that and make it a new thing in photoshop
4.) click luminosity on the layer properties: (after that it should be grey/whiteish)

5.) go to layer > new adjustment layer > brightness/contrast and put the setting like this:

NOTE: you can always change these settings, but for this tutorial, this is what im using

6.) do the same thing but this time with these settings:

7.) delete any parts that u dont want, almost always delete the sides so that it isnt very sharp
8.) go to edit > define brush preset
9.) name your brush and click save, now you can use your brush
10.) have some kick ass fun

i mean its a good tut i think, but the outcome was shitty, but when i made it, i thought it was good... lol, cause it was a while ago... hehe
