You guys should see my PM inbox, i had about 4 or so from Pat about this server upgrade, so i'm seriously looking around for something more perm. and more... ours. I realize your concern over the sites future. ive said this far too many times, so bear with me. I spent a good 8 - 9 hours a day playing that fucking game, WoW, and its damn addictive. Well it finally caught up to me. Ive been cut off by my mom, so my WoW account is officially gone, a flacid unattended account ill be selling on ebay. As for the site: Well ive applied for a job at the local petland, and i have about 300-400 dollars i can spend on this, at the moment, and id be more than happy and willing to shell out up to 500 a year if thats what it would cost. Money isnt an option at this point. Id like to keep it under my payment, and im searching for a large good host, or possibly a dedicated server. If you find one, let me know on AIM or here, or even on my cell phone. i think you have my number. I want to look into being able to do some of the technical shit on the site. Ive said this many times in the past, its time i actually start to learn this. Im going to pick up some books on php, css, and some other smaller coding to try to be able to help with the upkeep. Its all on your shoulders, and thats not something that was meant to be or supposed to be. Pat i always promised id never pull a chrisuk, and i never thought id break it, and i did. Ive neglected this site far too long, and with WoW out of the way its time i step up to the plate and get shit done. My printer / scanner is not hooked up, tomarrow i have off so ill be on all day and ill have it hooked up tomarrow. If you check the tutorials forum, ive already stated a few tutorials. I'd like to give you a range of whats to come: -Human Anatomy Series -Part 1 deals with the materials i use, mediums, and begins with the upper body. I'm basing this loosely off what ive learned myself, and what ive come up with. Starting with the neck and upper body is my goal for this week, and getting it out by next. By being able to understand the muscles involved in the body and how it moves, you can much more fully realize and draw with accuracy what the scope of this is. -Part 2 deals with the arms solely, possibly the chest as well. Again, by having a stern understanding of how it functions im confident people can really draw with accuracy. The point of this whole line is to get people to realize its easy to just copy a picture, but if you really understand it and how it functions, you can capture it much more fully. -Part 3 deals with the chest and abdominal section -Part 4 deals with the legs Ive also got something started with color, well see how that goes, and i'm thinking about writing up something for perspective drawings, possibly branching this off into pixel art basics, thus inter-connecting real world grit and bones art with computer graphic design and computer art. I'll be on AIM a lot this week, we can talk further there. Im going to post a copy of this in the news forum. |
