Storm Products Inc. have seen their high-end product become so popular more than half of the Professional Bowlers Association members played with their new fragrant balls last year. Usually smelly balls are unnoticeable unless held near your nose.
The enhanced version, however, seems to retain its strong scent to the point of distraction - four-time PBA champion Ryan Shafer claims to have won a match all thanks to his black licorice-scented balls.
