I must say, that fancy stuff really doesn't appeal to me.

I want to live somewhere nice and cozy, not in a marble cube full of couches that shit caviar.

Re: Some nice real estate in New York

gotta go with East 67th Street on that. it's a little outside my salary range though.

EDIT- these wouldn't be out of my range if they weren't made in 3000 B.C.

Same here, a well designed single bedroom 300-600 sqft apartment in an interesting hood (like LES or something) would be just fine to me. This is just to appease my extravagant old-money WASP culture fetish that I've had lately.

I've even been looking at private boarding schools in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and upstate New York.

Don't go to one of those schools Monkey, you'll just end up being a fag who wears sweatshirts with the sleeves wrapped around their shoulders, drinking iced tea, and golfing like a faggot.

Re: Some nice real estate in New York

if I get into finance after i get my degree i'll be able to afford of those places...

i like 20 years, ha ha. Starting salary for financial people on wall street is like 300k+ and you can make 7 figures easily if your good. The better people start their own business and manage hedge funds and pull in multi millions.

Let me rephrase my post then:
Fancy stuff is gay.

I want to live in a treehouse.

It's a very demanding job and you have to stay ahead of the game. I'm considering it, but I'd have to train with a company for a couple years and it would suck. Plus I'd have to relocate to New York where the expense of living is higher.

Although my degree will help towards building software applications that can more effectively trade finance, meaning I could make hundreds of thousands by letting a piece of software run on my computer, really a no brainer.

One of the professors at my school did this and drives a Ferarri. He also works part time for the school and has since retired from finance. Although i believe his son took over the job.

hmm, I was going to blame the douchebaggery on Vic.

Not that it really matters at all, of course. I was just curious.
