I'd say its better to tell them sooner rather than later. Obviously its a tough thing to do but if they are understanding you will feel a lot better about yourself.

only if it's something you're completely sure about, though. high school sucks as far as self-identity goes. aren't you still even in middle school?

i'm sure you were just kidding, but you could've made it a little more obvious. this is a pretty significant part in a gay person's life (coming out), and even if it's not entirely appropriate to begin the discussion with a bunch of nerds that visit the same forum, you could've at least been mildly respectful.

that's kinda what i figured it was, hence my initial question. but then i thought about it, and i'd put my money on mehmet not having a lot of people to talk to about this sort of thing...or at least not feeling comfortable talking to those other people.
