i've been studying 2 days straight...anytime that i'm not, i'm learning flash and working on these stupid websites. my attentions shot, but i promised my boss i'd have this done by friday. and i have to take 2 tests and go to an orchestra concert tomorrow.
so i need your help...

it's ugly as hell. but they want something simple, like their site. i definitely over-did it on the header, but i like it too much to change it...so now i need a really simple body to make up for it.(but not TOO simple...otherwise it'll look weird.)

i KNOW there are way too many buttons on the header...but they've got a bajillion and a half links. should i just take some of those off of the header and put them on the page like they did on their site? or...gah, idk.

Split the Navigation up into sections (that go to somewhere else with sub-catagories) and then put important ones like, Home and what not there too.

Very simple, very clean. Hmm, idk what to tell you.

i was thinkin something like what you said at the top. i'm having a hard time picking out which ones would lead into which...maybe i just need some sleep.

i was thinking drop down menus at first, but the more i thought about it, the less simple that sounded. the moment you have things moving...i suppose the less simple it is.

and i'm only designing it so far...i may not end up laying it out...it may be my boss. but, if i lay it out, i'll attempt to avoid using tables...it all depends on how much CSS i can learn before he needs it.

looks very nice on the header though... I would try blending the light ( where the stars are ) better. I also think the light is a little off, since there is a light source comeing from the planet? Although there is no light on where the planet curves.... maybe im crazy, I don't know

it's just a cloud of gas in the stars. it's completely unrelated to the earth being there.

but i'm not so worried about the header...clients aren't typically the brightest, and won't notice things like that.

I don't like the banner, but I do space stuff so you can tell why, the rest is fairly plain and dull, but that is perfect for their needs.

yah man, i can understand. and their needs i guess was all i was goin for. but for blending two renders of the earth (one didn't have clouds...but the others land-masses looked like crap.) and for that being the first starfield i'd ever made...i didn't think i'd done too bad.


...i'm jjust worried it won't be "plain and dull" enough. cuz apparently that's what they were looking for.

Make the navigation easier to read (darker font) . Take a look at the attached. Also if you do it how i have it setup, make sure theres margin around each word (top and bottom also). So i would make the nav bar taller.
