CSS Help please.

Ok, I've got everything how I want it, but the paragraph in the div contentdrop won't respond to padding on it's right side. And I can't figure out how to make it work.

Cause it goes

Code:

padding: 0 10px 10px;

Counts for the top, and I don't need to add px cause it's 0.

Counts for the right, and the left aswell since I don't specify a left number.

Counts for the bottom because I don't want it to be 0 like the top.

right?

i think you mean left side? the padding on the right is correct. The padding's repeat so you may want to type the extra 10px:

Code:

padding:0 10px 10px 10px;

Edit, the paddings look fine for me, maybe you have a cached version of the css file? add a meta tag for no-cache.

Well I mean, you see how it goes off on the right?

I need it to not do that. So I put 10 pixels of padding there, and it still goes off. Still goes off as in, adding that 10 pixels did absoultely nothing.

The left is fine (atleast here).

I started this like, and hour ago. Took forever to get those damn 2x2 blocks goin.

I even pumped that first 10px up to 100px to see if it would do anything, and nothing happened.

type more text in there for me so I can check it out

IMO your width of your box should be the width of the content, not content + padding...

so if you want 10px on both sides, subtract 20px from the width of the Bg image. try that out

Well the width of the div is the width of the background image. And then I was just going to pad it so I didn't have to put another div in there.

I fixed it. By adding another div that was 20px smaller. I really wish I could have done it without that.
