I dont get it.. so its php file, you upload it on your ftp... and is that it?

It looks kinda like it...I'm guessing make a bb.php or whatever and then use a require on all of your pages with it?

well, lets say you make a blog site, and you have an admin page where you have a form to post news. Instead of havnig to type the html to get the formatting for you blog correct, you could type bbcode into the box, and then use this function to parse the form once its submitted.
